Surely it is better to take the risk out and shoot lower than the limit! Bit confused re the benefit of speed, if the gun and scope are set right surely the variations in poi are dealt with. Ok it might buck a side wind better!
I shoot LSR side by side with Rugers .22s and various semi autos and even .45 magnum rifles and we compete on equal footings out to 50m. The speed differential and flight path are hugely different but the results are the same!
Or am I missing something here. Stay safe and know your kit and where to aim and surely 20fps here and there is irrelevant so why push it?
