Someone has kindly pointed out a dive shop to me (my other thread) and looking at their website (divebunker.co.uk) they say they can fill to 340 BAR
. Before I contact the shop, does anyone here have any experience of working with such high pressure cylinders? I have an FAC Airwolf (fill to 230 BAR).
Most bottles seem to be 300 BAR, but as this shop is a three hour round trip I'm thinking a 12L 340 BAR bottle is going to be a worthwhile investment. Based on the calculations here
with my gun a 340 BAR 12L tank would get me 19 fills, but a 300 BAR only gets 12 fills. (I currently have a 3L bottle which gets me 3 fills - not worth a 3 hour round trip)
PS 340 BAR - I think I'd store it in the shed rather than the house :-)
