If it helps some scopes become clearer on the close ones if you pull your head back a bit then you just move your eye around till the black fuzzy circle of the scope is central to eliminate parallax error.
will ,in most cases a scope with a large objective is going to give you less depth of field and with that also brings parallax error.
this is why you see alot of shooters using scopes with 40mm objective or below .
The nail that sticks out gets hammered down.
