Placing the second target in a lane out of the natural point of aim of the first one. Works best on the far targets +45 meters. On the close ones NPOA will have less effect. At 50 meters I have found for my own shooting that a wrong NPOA can cause flyers as far as 20mm.

Many shooters will not automatically change their shooting position for the second shot. Consequently their natural point of aim will be off if the second target is far enough away from the first.
You should not overdo it because the shooter will notice and change position. 1,5 to 2 meters maybe.
