It's a tough question - for me, I'd say that without the challenge of shooting in the wind there are still other facets of FT you can test.

Longer distance targets is an obvious one.

You've also got, uneven ground and angled shots

You can make the positionals more difficult and you can throw in some difficult range finding conditions.

Situate targets where heat haze might be a factor, site targets in different areas of lighting to make range finding more of a challenge. Dark targets, targets with natural backlighting to silhouette the faceplate and make finding detail to range on more difficult etc.

Any other suggestions?
