I believe in 10m match the target centre should be 55 inches to the centre. This means that people who hold the rifle with the bore at this height have an advantage as other shooters will be shooting further as per Pythagoras theory. Also ... the 10m distance is from the tip of the toe to the target face .... so shooters with tiny feet are actually closer to the target.

... but we may have gone a wee bit too far in the analysis. I'm talking about a man putting a target in front of a big **** off piece of wire.

My shooting relies less on luck but more on miracles.
