Default EFTA Statement

The EFTA were disappointed to have several apparent decisions overturned without notice or discussion close to or on the day before the event. We have asked questions of the WFTF and the NZ organisers and are awaiting a response from them.

In terms of the future it's the EFTA's Chairman's and Secretary's view that the WFTF should stipulate 12 ft-lb only and any future high power FT should have it's own event. We are also strongly suggesting the entire set of rules are overhauled, and mandated for all future events, and that future hosts are vetted by a procedure to ensure both competitors and organisers have a clear picture of how the event should proceed.

We will be talking to the management committee and the shooters attending NZ and other recent World Championships for their views and reports.
