The poll was started to gage people's thoughts on handing in a card they felt should have been better but was not through no fault of the gun but purely a bad day, accidentally taken home is different to deliberate.
Now if this was common practice then where would we be..... We would have artificially graded shooters whom would simply keep bad scores off the record, now everyone has ups and downs in sport it's the name of the game.
One or two below par scores is not going to affect their average very much, now if you pick and choose when to submit a cards then that isn't playing the game.
A thought you shoot one week and are not happy so you keep your card, the following you shoot a 39 well clear of everyone I bet this time it goes in.
How at the end of the year you will end up with an untrue average, who are you really kidding?
Looking at the poll there is a clear majority who would accept that we all have off days and take it on the chin, very positive indeed.
