air strippers tend to have cones with tight tolerances to the diameter of the pellet and are designed to direct any air surrounding the pellet off at a different angle to the pellet.

Silencer internals have all sorts of designs - some might act as an air stripper, some might not.

The bigger question is - has anyone got any proof that the turbulent air being 'stripped' off by an air stripper actually makes any difference to accuracy.
