The main losers in this are:
The East Devon club for money paid out
The course setters who may have spent weeks organising and setting out
The shooters who may not now have a local GP
The people who have lost money through hotel bookings etc
The BFTA are well off and the reimbursement to the club for the money they have lost would be pittance to them, I don't agree with the shooters having to pay an additional £1
This cannot possibly be the first time a shoot has had to be cancelled due to reasons of acts of god.
In my opinion something should have been in the rules as a contingency plan to cover this eventuality
