A Combro Mk4 at 50 meters would indeed be a test of accuracy !

The pellet fit and accuracy point is something I had never considered...makes sense..I suppose that element would be revealed in testing anyway..but good to know why there could be the variation..

Been wondering about some easy to do recoil absorption adjustments.While I really do take note of what's been said on the point I'm still enjoying the topic..

I noted Brian's point on a heavy stock and that made sense. I have been looking at industrial recoil absorption film..2mm thick..or perhaps vibration damping silkaflex..wondering if anyone has tried damping recoil with bedding the metal bits on something lining the stock inner..

Might test it out on some old rifles.. Have my cheekpiece on a bed of bluetack and that seems to help to quiet vibration
