When shooting targets 1-10 one has to be mindful of the fact the scores potentially count for 2 separate competitions. Since I rarely end up in a tie-break situation, I guess I haven't adapted yet.
Still, it feels wrong lumping both competitions into one.
At the end of the day, it's not the Olympics or anything, it's just an obscure sport for a bit of fun.
Just enjoy it for what it is - a day out shooting slug guns at tin chickens in a wood somewhere with your mates. If luck's on your side you might get a bit of tin/plastic to take home with you. Luck plays a part in the competition, so it's not a huge stretch to have luck playing a bit of a part in the countback system too.
