25% of a course can be reducers of either 15mm and 25 mm or a mix of "max" 2 x 15mm and the rest 25mm. So on a 40 shot course 10 is max, 12 on a 50 shot Gp.
Over range targets (either sitters, disciplines or reducers) do happen in shoots from regional level to National, usually through some slight over sight. I don't really have an issue if the target is under 55 yards as we all have the clicks. Targets past 55 yards are a no no for me though as I don't have the clicks.
Best thing our club has is a Bosh digital range finder, not cheap at about £300 but it range finds to the mm out to 5om. Just don't tell Gadget it belongs to tondu as he thinks its his for his building work!
