A simple cure for lowering the white out is to spray the inside of the sunshade with matt black paint or better still line the inside with velcro, this will stop the light bouncing off the surface of the sunshade.
What's not helping is that the inside of the sunshades is the same satin anodised finish as used for the main body.
Another trick I got told by a SAS sniper is to thrown a piece of mesh netting over the end of the scope when shooting towards the sun.
Let your shooting do the talking.
It's not the aim and release that decided the shot, it's the preparations.
