Brian is or course correct in what he is saying about getting used to a springer, what you will notice with the LGV is that the recoil, such as it is, is exceptionally well controlled and seems to have little effect on the direction the pellet goes in.
My standard LGV is just as much a pleasure as my Vmached HW97. as mentioned, the trigger is a bit of a faff to adjust, I have a photo of the internals somewhere which helps you to understand the relationship between the two adjusters (the trigger weight is separate) once sorted it is a lovely trigger.
IMHO once the trigger is sorted you forget about recoil etc. and just enjoy the gun.
