Rules are rules and the rules state max 55 yards. Fine if your putting on an open, but the correct course of action was to call the target.
If there is a target that appears to be over 55 yards or is over, then in my opinion that target should no be counted as a target and score as this saves the bad vibes. In conclusion if target over ranged don't shoot it tell the Marshall and they will note it.!!!! Bfta rules needs amending.
