Not so much the wrist rested as the forearm.
Take a look at the photos of top shooters in kneeling positions, Little jack / calps etc. always learn from the best.

Little beanbag should be no more a problem keeping out of the way from our testing than a lowered hamster is, its easy not to rest it on the forearm.

100mm between two boards I think the rule is. What that does not take into account is a shooter weight, so common sense would be needed
