People should bear in mind that the sums mentioned here don't reflect the actual cash flow. Income from the events comes much later than the expenditure to buy the prizes (silverware, glass blocks, etc) and pay hire costs where needed. The overall income from competitions matches the expenditure on the competitions e.g. trophies, prizes and prize money for Euros and Masters.

Yes there is a positive balance but if it went to zero then we couldn't buy the items in advance.

Any questions should be directed to the Treasurer using the correct BFTA contact details.

Anyone wishing to contribute to the running of the BFTA is welcome to seek election and especially since Treasurer,Secretary and Competition Manager are stepping down at the Nov AGM

Hi Neil, this is just a discussion but Bri has just confirmed what i was aiming at. The accounts are totally unacceptable and the lack of transparancy could easily be misinterpreted. As a member of the BFTA you should be able to see where every penny goes.

If my work demand/travel was lower then i would love to be involved in helping with the BFTA.
