Yes that`s what I do.
When I`m ready to open a new tin I gently peel the tape off, remove the lid and reveal the pellets all tightly packed in.......
What you do next is the secret.
..... talk to them, yes talk to them.
Gentle rub your fingers over the top of the pellets from side to side and in a whispered soft tone say..........
"pump the Fish my beauties, pump the Fish". Straight away the pellets sparkle and fizz with zeal. Then just tip them in your pouch and crack on.
....works for me.
I remove mine from the tin and and using a flat surface, I line them all up as soldiers on parade.
I then explain the drill to them and let them know my expectations.
Sometimes works, sometimes not.
I threaten to drown them in soapy water if their co lodgers haven't performed, when used earlier.
Again if this doesn't work I march them onto the scales and suggest a diet for the ones over weight.
If they don't seem slippery enough I will lube them as it sometimes makes the enemy (wind) less effective.
If they seem a little tight when loaded into the barrel I make it easier for them by sizing.
