Although the motion mentioned failed there is nothing preventing clubs from implementing good common sense measures for numbering targets. Numbering the faceplate may delay things e.g. pm session when targets are re-sprayed and then someone has to wait for them to dry before adding the number again. Bit of a pain but cable-ties of numbers on to the stand/tree mount should be good and anyone who can't hit the target but hits the number should have a point or more docked :-)

Still waiting for a couple more folk to respond but I will very likely publish the draft minutes over the weekend (and even update those if needs be).
