Hi,I was talking purely HFT as I thought the original poster was referring to that discipline rather than FT.
Regarding FT I would fully agree that you need something with a bit more adjustment and weight and something a little more refined perhaps.
But I think my scores over the last two years have disproved your point as regards to talking about 400's and HFT.
I was one target behind Cris Cundey at the end of the 2013 NEFTA Hunter series giving me 2nd place for the second year in a row, with my unregged Paul Wilson stocked MPR 400.I also agree with you about stock fit,and mentioned that a custom stock to fit the shooter is needed, and you would definitely struggle with a standard stock to do the same score. I am pretty sure though, that if I had used a Steyr I would not have lifted my scores. Just my opinion and I am sure I that I agree with your thoughts regarding FT. Maybe I should be looking at a Steyr?l
