I must confess that I derive as much enjoyment from 'tinkering'/setting up, as I do from shooting.
Same here Jack,
I get as much or more fun these days from setting the scopes up in the garden and just paper punching.
Spend more time these days trying to tighten my groups than i do at a course as i work every weekend until between 2:30am and 5am,
So Saturday and Sunday morning, when the rest of the country is nipping off to a shoot, i'm sound asleep or just plain cream crackered
Thus, a trip to the garden and a nice easy day of plinking with no driving suits me the best
