Really, is a table of results such a precious thing to trigger a squabble like this? A month after publication and it's old hat anyway.
Maybe it's not threatening as such but it's not a proposition either, what he's saying is "you have no rights, I can use them and the law is on my side". Legally, he's not wrong but some respect is due I feel, statements like "you have no moral right" isn't helping either.
Could be the words and the plan is just coming out wrong, easy to do on the net.
I can see the value of the site as well and maybe if it had been approached differently it would have not rattled as many people. I can confirm that my knickers are not in a twist, just chatting really.
