That would need a change in Constitution and Bylaws. there are only 9 votes permitted at present - one per region i.e. the Executive Members. Everyone else may well be a Member of the BFTA but they have no voting rights (same for Sec, Treasurer, Chair (and Chair only has a vote if the Reps are tied and then the vote has to be to keep the status quo).

So you could have any number of opinion polls but they have no weight and the Regional Rep can still vote either based on region's view or his/her own view (or abstain, etc).

So there you go - stand for a Committee position and offer to document the changes needed and help get the consensus needed to make the changes.
