In my opinion you shoot the target in the best position avalible to yourself, if you can get it sitting, prone, kneeling or standing that's up for yourself to decide but you use the natural surrounding, some shots will dictate what position you can use others will be what you are comfy with just like in a hunting environment! But as we are shooting targets instead of real prey you can take the risk and evoulate the risk of the shot without any damage apart from to your pride! Have the different classes as in target, sporting, springer but treat the winners as the same from each class.
1st to 3rd in each class.
