Never seen a problem with it myself... as long as your not kinking it to the side. You can't get your whole foot down, well i can't... even as flat as I can go I can just squeeze fingers under the ankle joint. But then if the rules change again to say there must be a gap, then there must be one.

It does beg the question as to when rules take effect. I think Neil covered that somewhere...
