"Recoiling" is a much fairer class than "piston" in my opinion. I shot the SR in Open class in HFT and I shot a std TX in recoiling class in the Gp's for a couple of seasons, by the time they changed it to piston and allowed SR's and the like I was back on the precharged.
I have to say though, the std of springer shooting in FT over the last few years has reached a phenomenal (SP) level.
