Am I right in saying that these are shot as .177 but scored outwards with a .22 guage, if it touches the 9 ring than its a nine?
The centre dot is the X as it were and if it is removed then it counts as an X. Do your score the X's as in the NSRA Eley comps where they give you a .1 for an X.
So it is possible to get a 404 in the Eley comp - 40 targets scored outwards, so that is potentially 40x10= 400 + 40 X's = 4. Total 404.
