IIRC, Jon said he'd proved it was down to the characteristics of the pulse of air from a PCP.

He also said that it has been known for years that springers take less wind than PCP's, so it's encouraging that we're forming a theory that seems to support real world observations. Makes me think we might be on the right track.

I'd love to see any data from Olympic shooters - maybe I should drop James Huckle a message on FB and see if he can lay his hands on some.
