It doesn't quite blow the theory apart, just means there's some data out there that doesn't quite support it. But we're only talking about a small sample of data anyway.
I guess you could also say that it blows apart the theory that sizing pellets makes a difference - but again, it's a small sample and needs more data.
Still, it's something interesting to consider anyway.
What I find most interesting is, if the theory doesn't hold true, then there's something missing from the ballistic calculations that we haven't considered.
