They more than likely use pellets that they have batch tested, a good batch won't give fliers from the tin.

I've been using JSB pellets straight from the tin since 2009. I've missed 1 turkey now on two different occasions for a clear round at the NEFTA Classic silhouettes both of which I can guarantee were not caused by bad pellets.........or now come to think of it

An average to below average batch with the occasional flier will benefit from any one or all of the following weighing, sizing, washing and/or lubing.

Pellet on the paddle, no points for a bullseye in this game
Reading the wind right will get you more points in this game than 50 pellets clones.
