Granted, but again you have read the law and re-read it. All the circumstances are taken as a whole; travelling to the gun club is a 'good reason' but having the rifle loaded in your car 20 miles from said club would undoubtedly not be 'good reason', crossing an unmarked footpath on private moorland whilst hunting with your rifle loaded may well be acceptable.
