Bore Polishing, Your Thoughts?
I shoot a Theoben TTR1 .177 with a 14 inch LW barrel.
Reg, valve and stem are all set up correctly, and with H&N Baracuda its running a consistent 690 on the chrono, but the barrel is giving me doubts.
It has a dislike for anything that isnt an RWS SF or Bis Mag/Baracuda Match, all in 4.51, with the mags/bara shooting the better.
It groups reasonably well, accurate enough for most, but i feel its lacking compared to my last Hw100. (which was a K so a similar sized barrel)
Its basically running the internal set up of the TM1000, and i am sizing the pellets for consistency which i have found does help in making it easier to shoot more consistent groups, but still i am searching for that bit more from it.
I know bore polishing is a bit of a hit or miss art, but what are your thoughts? Who has done this and what results did you have, be it for better or worse?
Really want to get this nailed down before i get it back out on HFT
