Seriously, I was surprised the first time I shot on a 50yd outdoor range, with target boards coloured so that you could see the flight-path of the pellet. Even on a relatively still day at Sywell the deviation was something of an eye-opener. And I had to concentrate hard to put pellets repeatedly into a 4" circle.
When I first started at Emley 3+ years ago, by far the biggest surprise was how much wind can move pellets, even at medium to close range let alone 50+ yards
, it's a great feeling though when you nail a target in strong wind
