The difference between a Bull and a V-Bull is very small so at a few hundred yards (full bore) you can still see the bullet holes and make very small corrections and the tiny centre dots work well and you can see the detail with the quality optics. Having the orange square (i.e. V-Bull) is great feedback. For bench rest the group size is the goal in some countries rather than the 'score' so again it is important to see detail close to the aim point and even 1/8MoA clicks are too coarse.

I really like a fine/medium duplex ret. A very fine crosshair for FT very often gets lost with black painted faceplates.
