The only issue with them really* is the thick grease that HW insist on slathering over all the mechanism. In cold weather the power drops and in warm conditions it gets much thinner and power climbs, also it beds in. Just speculating but in addition to components generally wearing in together, some of the grease finds its way off the hammer shuttle into other areas, and power climbs. The single best thing you can do to these IMHO is degrease the action and lube sparingly with a light oil.

* Well that and the fact that all bar the early ones are not easy to adjust to compensate.
