If the scope turn out to be misaligned, the easiest solution is a set of mounts that are adjustable for windage as well as elevation. Good luck.
Where I live is a bit rural and the nearest club, never mind indoor range is quite some way away. But I take your point. I get winds from about 3 pm to 6 pm every day without fail, so I have to use the mornings when it tends to be nice and calm.
