I'm afraid it's not.
I, Shaun (the Competition Secretary) organised the lanes multiple times to accommodate 3 sessions and to help Millride; the responsibility for lane allocation rests with the organising club/region. Sam, kindly offered to help Millride at booking in. On Saturday night, having received 24 changes, Sam reorganised the cards. The plan was that there would only be 2 per lane in session 2. Before session 2 commenced, there was again multiple changes and unfortunately some of these changes did not get communicated. Also, a shooter from session 3 shot session 2!
The BFTA wasn't at GP1. I was, Shaun and so was Sam. Sam will get nothing but praise from me so ... it's my fault and I'm not the BFTA, I'm Shaun.
He's not Shaun, he is the messiah, and a very naughty boy!
The reason there were three in front of a Pear, was that when Ian found himself alone and called a marshall Marshall radioed in, the result of which was the marshall put Ian with Brian and Alison.
It was not that three set that was slowing things up, Phil and i had no more than about 30 seconds to wait for the lane to clear and often the trio had gone by the time we got there!
Could have been worse he could have been put with Phil and I!
