I agree absolutely with Simon - I zero the gun in the cold, keep it cold for a good 12 hours before the shoot, and don't fiddle with scope on zero range. Even if the gun is lower on power in an absolute sense in the cold compared to indoors, if it's zeroed at the lower temp it should still be consistent.
