I was perhaps labouring under the situation where the club was deemed liable. In reality I expect that liability has to be demonstrated or accepted, so that may suggest there are alternatives that demand a shooter is insured. For guests this means that to prevent liability falling on the club, supervision which would absolve them of liability is required. But yes, Neil's point does seem to bare a scenario I hadn't thought of, which is that a visiting shooter is deemed liable.
