Default EV2 Reg

Our club EV2 was leaking air from the joint to the cylinder so I thought I would try and remove it to replace the O-ring

The action/valve housing joint to the reg was not too tight but the joint to the cylinder just would not give up

I noted that the exposed threads on the reg were 5/8"BSP and so I asked Best Fittings to make me a couple of lock nuts to fit this thread.

The service from them was brilliant and within a couple of days I had the locknuts

To protect the cylinder I wrapped it with a thin rubber mat and then used a plastic waste pipe cut down into 2 halves and wrapped this round the cylinder
I then clamped the cylinder in a workmate and with a few gentle taps on a 8" wrench the reg came free with no damage to the cylinder or reg finish.

As the rifle will be used with the barrel fully floating, then the reg does not need to be put back on too tight
