Things like this really get up my nose, unless you have used, not just your rifle...but the whole combination of rifle and scope...through all weather conditions and temperature. You will never know how it reacts. I have the new long Steyr and was at the club yesterday in minus2 temperature, I set my combo up in about 8/9 degrees so the settings were, as expected a bit different, I found that everything under 45 yards was more or less the same, within 4 clicks, but anything over 45 I was adding 12 clicks on. My Leupold comp was under ranging by 2yards exactly on anything over 40yds but not on the closer targets. Get to know your combo before getting rid on someone else's advice. An "A" grade shooter at Far Coley was told a similar thing with a rifle or his, I set it up and did 28x30 with it. He is using it on a regular basis now. Nothing wrong with the equipment, just get to know it better. Neil.
