It was a tough wind and I was adding clicks on to anything over 35yds...especially the ones across the pool, I ended up dialling 8 clicks above my 55 for the long one across the pool which I know was around 54. Make sure all mounts, rails and other bols are tight, and make sure the wheel hasn't slipped. Other than that I don't what else to suggest. Neil.
PS: the plinking range was set out with a tape so I can vouch for their distances. First plate was 30yds and then others placed in 5yd increments up to 55.
We've had that over the pool in cold weather. where shots have inexplicably dropped low. A number of theorys abound, one being that the temperature of the water chills the air just above it making it more dense hence slowing the pellet in flight.
