Thanks for all the feedback guys! Now I just have to decide on the scope. I have a nice big BSA 10-50 but I've been told by many that putting it on a springer might not be the best idea. My budget precludes having backup guns so I'm inclined to buy a scope with a lifetime warranty such as a Leupold, Sightron or Bushnell - all of which (I think) will do repairs even if you aren't the original owner.

I've owned a Bushnell before and they are nice but I'd really like a side focus so I've kind of narrowed it to the Falcon T50, Sightron 10-50 or Leupold 35. Hawke actually has a really good warranty too so they are in the running as well. Then there's the Weaver T36 that's already on the rifle I'm buying....
