Yes I have seen one.
My strong advice to you would be to not use spalted beech, as its basically rotten beech.
Its a pale beech, almost white, with bad linear pattina - of rot.
Its liable to snap in weak spots and looks the same colour as a freshly peeled Maris Piper.
There are other options, cherry or ash in the price range or even just plain old beech - all offer better vfm when buying gunstock blanks.
