For expense try motorcycle racing even at club level
Apart from the cost of the bike which can be anything from 1k to 20k+ depending on what class your racing in then there are the consumables like fuel, oil tyres, fairings (when you fall off) leathers and helmets (see fairings) engine and chassis spares, engine rebuilds plus a van and travelling expenses then you have entry fees, club subs, keeping your licence up to date with medicals etc a season in club racing can cost at the cheap end around 15-20k
Makes FT at the top level look cheap eh?
