I have just finished another s400 set up and will be using an old ( optically superb ) Prostalk 3- 9 x 50 which is a bit of a beast to say the least
As you may know the objective on these scopes is huge meaning that the distance from centre of scope to centre of barrel is quite significant .
Now I have always used my scopes where they best suit me not
as close to the barrel as humanly possible ( I prefer comfortable eye relief over anything else due to a dodgy neck )
, how many of you try to set your scope up as close to the barrel as possible as IMO this is not always the best set up possible ?
I will still use the new set up even if the scope is three feet from the barrel ......... well its a nice bit of glass believe it or not so at least I will see where I missed . lol
