Basically we are talking about the first few targets on a shotgun start course. You know where you aimed, so when the target is reset you look where the pellet strike is and it gives you a benchmark for further targets at the same or similar distance. Very difficult to do when the paddle has been shot up. So if I gave a 50 yard target a kill or 40mm to the right....I know to give it the same or similar next time....every shot is different so this is not set in stone. This is where experience of shooting in the wind comes in. Strange thing is....the more you practice....the better you get. Stick at it. Neil.
