Its the final day of the worlds, its you (not directed at any one inparticular) and a.n.other in a shoot off.
1st prize gets the trophy and his name on the list.
(and what i think was some sort of traditional momento of the shoot, just happened to lok like Roy)
2nd prize gets a Gun or scope that would noramlly retail say for pver £1000
How well would you shoot???
Myself it would be for the trophy.
I dont see the fasination with prizes in FT shooting really, they are generally only sold on and never really appreciated or used?
If the dosh is that important to you dont go shooting on a sunday but book overtime in work.
I keep hearing people tell me i should do the euros, "its great how much money you can win."
No one really mentions the shoot, the course, just what they can win.
That holds no appeal to me.
Plus as its really just a 2 day shoot in the Uk with not all the top Uk shooters, and certainly not enough European shooters, its not the Europeans to me, just a Gamefair open.
I hope the rest of Europe moves for a true european open soon, held in a different European country each year.
As for Worlds prizes, perhaps each country that wants to be a member of the WFTF should pay £100 per year. All money goes to prizes?
Or perhaps we just go to meet some great people, enjoy countries and cultures we would perhaps not normally visit and enjoy the shooting?
No, just me then
