A friend of mine has found the most amazing site to set up an FT course.

Probably around 3 to 4 acres, good acess, well mown with a number of mature Oak trees on it, a private wood screening it off from the road which is around a hundred yards away, and open farm land on the other sides.

There would be ample room for parking, the FT course to a maximum of maybe 70 yards, a 30 yard plinking range etc. etc.

How exactly do you go about getting this sort of place up and running and licensed etc.

What would be the normal charge for someone using a facility like this, would you charge by the hour, by the number of goes around the course or by the day?

Any help would be greatly appreciated, we would like to get this up nd running ASAP

Thanks,
Stewart

Well after changing from exact rs 7.33 to aa field 8.4 i had to reduce the power of my mk3 ftr on tuesday
The rifle had been set up and tuned to a 7.33 pellet by the previous owner shooting at 840fps

Iwas amazed that when going to 8.4s my rifle was still shooting in the 810fps bracket (far too hot)

i turned her down to a 795fps ...... On the recomendations of a chosen few respected shooters i was told i was a liitle too near going over the magical 12ftlb barrier depending on the weight of the so called 8.4 and the climate

Off again back to the range this morning for a little more turning down

Was looking to get as close to 785fps as poss

Shot a string of shots and got theses results

782.77
785.85
784.31

Guys I got My LG110 FT and along with it came a left And right handed grip. Plus one of those riser rails.

So do these come as standard ? I think the rail is an optional extra but not sure about the grip ?

As I am right handed I will never use the left hand one but if the gun comes with it as standard then I should keep it in case I decide to sell the gun later on...

If neither of these parts are standard I will put them in the for sale section as they are of no use to me whatsoever.......

Thanks ..

Picked up a Steyr LG100 FT today.. It came with a rail that is obviously for FT use.... I have mounted a scope with a 44mm Objective lens onto the chassis of the gun .. I have only a set of high mounts and obviously the scope is way to high...
So I'm assuming I need a set low ones ??

How does that rail thing work ? I have seen pictures of a scope mounted one one on the net.... But how does a scope fix to the top of that elevated rail ??
I will never use it of course as I shoot HFT.. I was just wondering....

Could use some advice of which mounts to put the Lightstream scope onto the Chassis though...

Thanks...
